Jesus Saves About the Faith The Godhead

God is reals in three images, or persons. God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. This three part personality is often referred to as the Trinity. It may be difficult to understand how there can be three in one, but God is different from us. The Bible has many scriptures that were given to help us understand this better. Perhaps it is like three images inside a triangle, all making up the one supreme God.

Some Biblical scholars have referred to this union as the Community of God. They are three persons yet they are one in community. Each one has individual characteristics.

  • Only Jesus died on the cross.
  • Jesus always desires to do the will of the Father.
  • The Holy Spirit could not be sent until Jesus had ascended back into heaven. The Holy Spirit is the agent who enables us to come to Jesus.
